TheDigitalEntrepreneur.co.uk is a resource run by me, Dan Amos, to teach you proven strategies for running and optimising your businesses. I’m here to help you with all things digital. This includes strategy, product development, product innovation, apps, and much more.

I graduated from Cardiff University with a PhD in Virtual Reality and human-computer interaction on a research project linked to Land Rover’s production plant in Oxford.

I then went on to work in the telecoms industry as a software developer developing the next generation telecommunication systems that are now a mainstream technology. I predominantly worked on a public facing API.

Then I spent nearly a decade working in an Advanced Technology Centre in the defence industry. Where I was able to innovate and patent new systems and I worked on cutting-edge technologies. This was where I had my first exposure to developing apps on multiple operating systems, well before the days of the iPhone. I went on to manage and win multiple international contracts based on my groundbreaking innovations.

I then went on to work in the health industry for BMJ and I managed a number of development teams and products from the Cardiff office before becoming a digital strategy lead focusing on app and mobile product development for the company.

I have had the opportunity to create million pounds products including apps, applications, and websites. I regularly advise both large companies and startups on their digital strategy, product development and product innovation.

I have mentored a number of successful business people to achieve their professional qualifications and I’m a popular speaker, lecturer, and author on all things digital.
